Zakka organizing style for trinkets and stuff

by - Monday, January 16, 2012

One of my craft resolutions this year is to imbibe the mori girl handicraft spirit. That means making more natural, zakka style projects just like this one. This wood shadow box which  I purchased many moons ago from a Japanese supply store is just a wonderful material to display and organize everyday wear trinkets and jewelry.

What organizing projects are you doing this month?

  1. Very cute how there are so many animals and plants! And so cute that they get closed in behind the glass window, like behind the cover of the front page of a book, inside their own story.
I really liked the mori craft link you included here, too.
Er, organizing projects... I still need to get rid of a tonne of books I no longer regularly use, but it is tricky to find a good home for them. And the same goes for a few clothes (I often find that clothes shrink over time - and no, heh heh, I haven't gained weight!) :) I like keeping a reasonably minimal closet.
